Decent experience, good tools

I posted a job on Indeed a few weeks ago for a new administrative assistant role. The initial setup for the Sponsored Job was pretty intuitive, and I appreciated the suggestions for keywords. I also tried the Indeed Assessments feature, which was helpful for screening candidates before interviews. It took about 10 days to find the right person, which was decent. I had a small question about my daily budget settings and used their employer support chat; they responded within an hour, which was good. The pricing model for pay-per-click made sense, though it can add up if you're not careful. Overall, a solid platform for recruitment.

Good for quick hires

I used Indeed for a Sponsored Job posting last month. Found a good candidate in about a week. The interface was straightforward. Posting was easy. No issues with billing or anything.

So easy to find staff!

I absolutely loved using Indeed for my recent hiring needs! The platform for a Sponsored Job was so user-friendly, I had my ad up in minutes. We got a bunch of great applicants fast. The whole process was just incredibly smooth, and we found the perfect person for our team much quicker than I expected. I'm definitely going to use them again for our next opening and recommend Indeed to other small business owners!

Does Indeed ever do those free credits for new employers? Saw something about a 50 or 100 dollar credit somewhere, but couldn't find it when I signed up.

They totally do! I got a $100 credit when I first signed up a few months back. I think they usually send them out via email or direct mail. Check your inbox or maybe even your spam folder if you signed up recently.

Yeah, they usually send those out to new accounts. If you got an email, there should be a spot in the billing section of your employer dashboard to put the code in. Sometimes it just auto-applies though, depends on the promo.

Hey, thinking about trying Indeed for some hiring. Are their sponsored job posts actually worth it or just a waste of money compared to the free ones?

From my experience, the sponsored posts definitely get way more visibility. I've had much better quality applicants and quicker fills when I've sponsored a job. Free posts kinda just get buried unless you're in a super niche field.

Yeah, I agree. Free ones are okay for very entry-level stuff or if you have loads of time to wait, but for anything critical, sponsored is the way to go. You can set a budget, so it's not like you're just throwing money at it blindly.
